Unfortunately, the wives of his poker-playing cronies worship him also. Every Wednesday night Jason leaves the poker game for a "private consultation" with one or more of his pals' wives. Although his friends don't suspect anything, his fiancee, Melissa (Elizabeth Montgomery) is getting anxious about whether or not their wedding will become a reality.
Melissa's close friend Stella (Carol Burnett) discovers Jason's Wednesday night rendevous and cooks up some wild antics to help her win Jason back.
